A wholesome trinity: food lover, environmentalist, and journalist, Abē grew up eating dim sum in Boston’s Chinatown, absorbing the warmth and clamor radiating from clanging food carts and pushing back his Por Por's hands shoveling food onto his plate. He has written for the The Growler, Insight News, and the St. Paul Almanac. And has produced a podcast on all things food and culture with co-host Mecca Bos called Super Delicious. Apart from finding the right words, Abē works in kitchens slicing potatoes and frying buttermilk chicken, though he finds more solace cooking at home. He's currently a masters candidate at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, in the Social Journalism program and is available for hire as a freelance writer and media maker.
